New TV Series: “Stuft” Follows the Tales of Furry Creatures Trying to Make It As Rock Stars in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

If you thought the TED movie was hilarious, you may want to keep your Life Alert necklace handy. Because a new crowd of furry miscreants are about to explode on the pop culture scene in the new half-hour series “Stuft” that is based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NYC. The two lead characters, Cecil and Lick, try to navigate the trials and travails of making their dreams of becoming rock stars come true.  As a former resident of the trendy neighborhood of Williamsburg, I can’t wait to watch this series! It isthe place where bands like TVOTR were born and WillyB is the perfect setting for the furry creatures’ search of rock stardom. I can’t wait to see them try on clothes from the vintage clothing shop, Beacon’s Closet, or order a bowl of acai from the snotty waitresses at Fabiane‘s bakery on Bedford Avenue. But I have one issue with the trailer: where are their trademark hipster glasses?
